Nursery was full of surprises for both Rhea and Us.

Moments that we cherished:

• Her first PTM {Parent teacher Meeting): It was delightfully wonderful to know that she was one of the best in class, both behavior wise and in academics.
• Her first Annual Day Program: She performed beyond our expectations. Jai n I were fighting hard not to cry, but could not help. This was one proud moment in our lives.
• Certificates: Rhea collected a few certificates in drawing, show n tell and fancy dress. All different spheres requiring different skills n personality traits. This gave us an idea that she will be an all rounder.:) if given the right support.

Moments that we hated:

• Rhea crying and becoming hysterical while waiting for mommy to be picked up after school.
• Rhea getting sick almost once or twice every week.
• Rhea vomiting at the drop of the hat.
• She hating food ….the problem still remains.

Rhea is now in Nursery and enjoys going to school. This section captures her chick click snap with her first Barbie doll and her first art n craft lesson taught by mommy darling.

This time Diwali for us was a festival of colors and sweets, with very little firework. We spent most of our time decorating our house. Want to have a look ?

Our visit to Mount Abu was one of those trips that no one would like to remember. “A TOTAL DISASTER’. A  14 hour long journey by road  that got stretched to 22 hours and only because of ONE wrong turn….with rhea in my lap, Rhean in my tummy and deserted villages all around…the only savior was our Sonata and Jai’s driving skills. The trip ended with a funny accident on the highway….Poor sonata had to bear it all. This trip gave us an insight of how Incredible India is!

Birthday’s always come with a ‘Special’ tag attached to them and so was Rhea’s Birthday ! It was her Dadi’s presence that made it special for her

Goa during the monsoon was so raw, untapped and lush green that we could not take our eyes off that land. The high tides and the red flags on the beach made the place even more mysterious.

Rhea n Papa loved drenching in the rains, dipping in the pool, sitting rain-soaked in the rented swift without feeling guilty & of course playing with the sand. Eating the shark meat was exciting too! What more should I say, the place is a wonder &  we shall visit you again Goa!

Rhea loves being with Arjun & Gauri. They had so much to do, that their was no time for sleep. Jumping in the house from one room to another, playing with anything and everything they got hold of.

Arjun draping sarees to the girls. Oh my god! reminded me of my childhood days. I was lucky too… had big sister Anu with me .

We were planning to visit Kerala for a long time. This year, we finally booked our trip and flew off to Kerala for a long vacation. Rhea enjoyed the trip very much including the fact that it was her first plane ride . We visited Cochin (the main city), Munnar (a hill station) and Kottayam (the backwaters) to relish the full flavor of Kerala. It was a rejuvenating holiday for all of us including Rhea.

The weekend outing to the good old Shimla was a big stress buster. We drove up hill in our Sonata with cousins. The roads as well as the weather only added to the joy!

Rhea loved indulging in the crib ride and often used to sleep in her cozy quilt when she was tired. We all fell in love with the mystic Chail.

Rhea’s second birthday was equally grand. A cozy comfortable party at home with all the loved one’s invited.

She was loaded with gifts and  blessings from family members. The smile on her face never disappeared throughout the evening.

Mamta did a photo shoot with Rhea in the best of her dresses. Both of them were delighted since we had moved to the new house recently. Rhea is our own little celebrity and we as the paparazzi never miss to click her pictures!

On our visit to Hamirpur (H.P.), we celebrated Gauri’s birthday. Rhea was absolutely thrilled being with her young cousins and we all had a good time! A nice family reunion

Finally, Rhea got to celebrate her first birthday, cut her first cake and open the first bottle of Champagne! Congratulations to Rhea

We arranged for the Birthday party in a Banquet Hall with a gathering of around 80 guests. All the guests were subjected to a nicely decorated dinner with lots of booze and nice music. It was a blast! Check out some pictures right here :-

Rhea really likes to sit in front of the keyboard. Why won’t she? She sees her daddy sit for countless hours staring through that shiny window (I mean my PC). I am sure she has a lot of questions but anyway, she finally got the chance to get her fingers dirty on those keyboard buttons. Here are some of the pics :-

Rhea is seven months old and can sit now, though she tends to lose her balance every now and then. We have bought a baby walker for Rhea and I am sure it will help her take the first baby steps. She is so eager to stand on her feet nowadays that sometimes its hard for us to make her lie down.

Rhea also got some new toys which she has started to like but there is one toy that got her really scared. If you see carefully in one of the pictures, its that horrid chicken…actually, that toy starts running suddenly after making a loud chicken noise. But after a lot of playing around, Rhea is not scared of the Chicken. So, no chickening out on the chicken

I have been really busy setting up my new office and didn’t get time to update the blog. Rhea is five months old and has started feeding on solid food now. Here are some of here latest pictures.

Rhea is two months and ten days old today. She has been blessed with good health so far except a few sneezes here and there. Rhea made a new friend recently when we took her out to my friend Satya’s house to meet Raina (Satya’s five month old daughter). I was really wondering if Rhea will be that big in five months of time .
